Craftworks is a husband and wife team located on the Big Island of Hawaii. Gene is a glass artist and has been working with glass since 2015. He was originally inspired to start Craftworks after wanting to create glass landscapes that captured Hawaii, that were not stained glass. After taking a class in California he perfected his skills in glass working and started Craftworks. Gene and his wife Debbie have been living on the Big Island of Hawaii for 4 years, but have been visiting the island since 1995. He aspires to capture the beauty of the Big Island into wonderful works of art that everyone can take home and cherish.
Debbie is a local water color artist that is inspired by landscapes and flowers especially for their variety and vibrant colors. She has been working with water color for 10 years and is mostly self taught through books and a few classes. Debbie likes watercolors for their fluidity, portability and its ability to dry fast. Every piece she makes is one of a kind and original, so every piece is truly individual.
